Orlando Spring Time Cruise

Anyone up for a cruise, lunch and some fun in Orlando? I was thinking in early April. I am trying to get Luxautica to give all in attendance half off admission and a full facility tour. Normally $20 admission to just view the cars, not the full facility. It pretty cool in there. Check it out at : http://luxautica.com/collection/. It's directly off I-4. Any lunch suggestions or ideas on where to cruise? Also since the go-carts were popular last time at the holiday event.......I found a mile long go-cart track in Kissimmee. I will check it out this weekend to see what it's like. Please respond with any help!

Great! Let's shoot for Sunday April 5th. I know this is a long way out but time should go by quick! If the weather really sucks, then the following Sunday. I will contact Wei Chin since he seems to know everyone and can drop an email to everyone around. Keep checking in to see any new details. See you guys soon!

I'd be interested in attending if I'm free that day {which I probably will be:rolleyes:}. This sounds like it would be a lot of fun and something different for a change.
 
No definite plans have been made for a trip/drive up to the Dragon, but I've always wanted to drive it. The talk has been the same weekend you mentioned above April 4-5 and the following weekend is Easter.

Just to see if there's any interest...my next door neighbor is the President/Grand PoohBa of the Orlando Viper Club. He personally has 5 Vipers. I spoke to him recently about having a joint NSX and Viper get-together and maybe a barbeque between our 2 houses. I know the 2 cars are very different but we're all car guys...right?? We could try to plan a joint NSX/Viper country drive then hang out with a BBQ and cars. Anyone have any interest in something like this? If so, I could have my neighbor ask the Viper guys if they are up for it...or not.
 
If Jesus had a car it would be an NSX. But meeting on Easter wouldn't be good, I agree. The Dragon sounds fun but I would want to plan a longer trip for that and I am heading to Colombia later that month and that would be too much time away from work for me. I like the idea of a Viper/NSX meet though! How many members would he expect from the Viper Club? Plan at least 5 to 10 NSX's plus the Vipers and you need a parking lot! Now is too cold, the Sebring is in March ( I can't go ), let's pull off this new event in early April, and then the BBQ shortly there-after.
 
A suggestion I have would be to plan it for the Sunday after Sebring, March 29th (if possible for everyone). That way it's warmer out and wouldn't interupt the Dragon or Easter. What's your thoughts on that guys? I'm up for the BBQ/get-together anytime as well Todd.

Im interested in it but would also like to drive. I like meeting new ppl and eating, but I prefer driving over talking.

now's actually the perfect weather...no clounds in the sky, sunshine and cool air...cars run great!!
 
I'm available both the 29th and 5th. The Ocala Grand prix would be a mega-hike for me (2 1/2 hrs. each way), but sounds like it would be worth it if Luxautica fell through. That track is friggin' huge! I didn't even know they had something that size in Florida! By the way dave, what happened to the idea of the go cart track in Kissimmee?

Let's go for for April 5th. I promise to test out the other track in Kissimmee this weekend to make sure its worth it. Plus ask for discounts! Luxautica still won't return my calls. I am going to stop by there this weekend too. My car might be done by then. Major cosmetic mods. Can't wait to show it off. If all goes well......a cruise, luxautica, go carts and throw some food in there somewhere. Not a bad afternoon!

Ocala is a haul but may be good for the guys in O-town to drive up someday.

Definitely! I am giving Luxautica one more week to respond them I am up for ideas on what to do. The head guy is in India getting married and will be back this month. I say let's meet in there parking lot anyway. Screw them if they won't give us a discount on tickets. It a great place to meet. This weekend check this post for info.....then tell everyone you know!

Regardless.......i am going to give Luxautica one more call and drive by to see if they will host us. Again....check back this weekend for info!
