Hugo, our own NSXPrime member and inventor of the NSX window regulator upgrade kit, will be in Orlando the weekend of August 28-29th. He is willing to meet with a group of us who would like his assitance in installing his kits. You can purchase his kit from the links below and he says it takes 1 week shipping. He charges for install according to the link below or it's free if we DIY as a group. Is anyone else interested in an Orlando get-together to upgrade your window regulators? Where should we do this...1st Class Automotive???

Guys, I'm a little confused. Do we have to BUY the kits and have them shipped to us or is he going to bring them with him?

Todd, have you purchased your kit yet? If not, can I send you $$ to buy an extra for me?

nsx-ray: both solutions are fine, I will bring some kits of course, but I would prefer to ship it to you before I leave, that is always a few less weight for me to carry in my bags across the US

I don't have the kit yet but am planning of ordering it. Count me in...

Do you need it? Or are you just doing this as preventative maintenance. Not sure if they changed the regulators or not on the newer models, maybe someone wiser than me here knows.

I obvioulsy will need a kit, but need to figure out this pending work trip though:frown:

I spoke with Nabil at First Class Auto and we are set to meet at his shop on Sunday, August 29th at 9am. We can always do lunch next door at Red Lobster or Smokey Bones afterwards.

I have noticed that my driver side window is pretty slow compared to my '03 TL window. It's not too bad though, just not used to it. I did decide not to get it for now so I won't be going. Have fun!

5. Myaddiction, if there are additional kits.

I am planning on putting speakers in the door at the same time, so if you guys don't mind would be great if he could help me pull my door panels first then go help everyone else while I work on theirs to give me time to finish putting them in, thinking it should be straight forward but you never know. Unless someone else has pulled the door panles before and can help me. I have read the instructions and while it doesn't look too hard, rather not doing something dumb and damage something.

count me in, was planning on just swinging by and maybe hanging out but if there are kits abound i may jump in on the fun

Todd, missed you but the car looked good as always this morn @ rt. 46...x

Ok, just got a call from the place fixng the half a$$ job that the guys who did my alarm the first time did. The tech working on my car broke his leg and my car is gutted.

So I won't be making it down there. Hope you guys have a good time. I'm just going to send Hugo money for the kits and do it myself. This kind of stuff always happens. oh well.
