Mountain Track (no big bumps on the course though) located in scenic
Pahrump Nevada is planned for Saturday December 7th.

ROOMS:
We decided last time to make the Best Western the group hotel instead of
the casino since the casino tends to forget people and when you arrive
you may or may not actually have a room with your name on it.

I booked 20 rooms for this event, 15 of which are left.
They have lots of rooms besides the ones I booked at the moment but if you are planning on going, I'd call them soon. The rate this year is $63.90 for a room with 2 Queen
beds or 1 King. If you want a smaller room with 2 double beds, it is ~
$52.00/night.

The rooms are booked under the title:

THE DALIRACING/MARK JOHNSON TRACK EVENT
you might also get a room using another name like:
THE DALI RACING TRACK EVENT
OR
THE MARK JOHNSON TRACK EVENT

You might just say that you are coming to the DECEMBER 7TH TRACK EVENT
and tell them that you need a room.

If you want to stay there one more night and not drive home after the
event, (a good idea) please remember to ask as I have NOT booked the same number of
room for Saturday night.

If you got an error on the signup page before, we have fixed the broken code, and the sign up sheet should work perfectly now.

Thanks to the efforts of the people already registered, as of today we have reached "critical mass" for our December 7th track event - the point where we not only have achieved the financial goal of a track event with insurance, AND an ambulance standing by (not that anyone will need one - right?) but NOW each additional person that comes REDUCES the track fees for everyone.

Currently at $125.00 for 4+ hours of track time per car/driver combination, [I don't know of any better deal out there unless someone else pays!] each additional car & driver (or driver sharing your car in a different group) reduces the cost to each of us - we don't make $ on this deal, the total cost is divided by the # of drivers and we rebate accordingly in cash at the track - it is like an Internet scam!! "Get Paid To Drive!!"

I know some of you cheap asses have been sitting on the fence waiting for the price to drop - well it has! Besides, there are more NON NSX's coming than NSX's - what is up with that!? They can't all be broken, in storage for the rainy season or too clean to run at the track - can they? OK - I know 3 that are but what about the rest of you guys that talk allot about how fast you are but never show up to prove it??
