Hi Detlef,

I can't wait to see that in person, hope to see you soon.

BTW, is it the original, or some imitation?

Mich

Detlef,

Very nice looking. To be honest, I think this looks better than the racing-one you had on before.
Do you notice any difference during high-speed driving.
After all, you are one of the very lucky NSX-drivers out there than can choose to drive any speed you like on the highways.

Having been pulled over yesterday again makes me sometimes very jealous of you German guys ;)

Thx for the compliments.

First I have to say that the Japanese HONDA guys are crazy, but this circumstance makes them sympathetic.
They produce an superb rear wing, absolutly genious, completely made in carbonfiber and than, they paint that part black, so noone can see what it is.

This wing, showed at the pictures is identical with the NSX-R prototype wing, which you could see at the official HONDA webside.
No cheap copy with another look, but an real autoclaved original,
available with or without NSX-R stickers.

I would like to show you some other goodies, I installed at my car.
Please dont ask me about the price, but I can eMail you where you can buy this wing.

bravo! you've got a nice wing and excellent color combo with seats.....

by the way, what kind of intake is that? is that a custom airbox?

Detlef Welsch said:
No, its the complete DaliRacing airbox system with
cf side vents
cf fender scoop
cf airbox with Apexi Airfilter
cf air intake connector to throttle body

that assembly looks very nice. the carbon fiber connector looks exactly like my rm racing one.

how's the sound? mine has a whoosing sound when i lightly punch the throttle and i could hold that whoosing sound steady at around 2500-3000rpm. the sound level rises progressively as i go higher in rpm.

i don't have the cold air option, though. i bet yours has better gain.

The sound is awesome, because the complete air inlet is open,
only the airfilter cut some noises.
I'm very happy with that part.
The fuel consumption is the same, the throttle response is getting better 10-15 % (subjective)
Also I think that it looks a little bit better than the OEM plastic parts.

The floor mats came from HONDA Germany, an engineer let produce them for his car and I was in that loop too.

Nice mods, tastefully done. It all works together seemlessly. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats with all the goodies.
You car keeps getting better and better. How much weight did you loose by now?
Can't wait to see your car at Spa. And I WILL be taking pictures ;)

So...it is a copy, just a nice one? How much and where can I get one (without the decal)?

I want that wing!!!!!!

I'm really want that wing!! Please.......where did you get it?

John

Its not a copy, its an independent part for the NSX.
Unbelievable ultralight and very strong.
Much, much better than the OEM part.

As I heard....very exclusively with minor number of units.
I got the 1th part to test the topspeed and downforce attributes at german highways and tracks.
I added the NSX-R sticker, but only for some pictures.
I will remove that stickers soon.

I was very impressed of all results and have bought it.
My GT wing I dont will install again.
This cf wing is the real wing for my NSX.
Very elegant style and excellent look for my taste.

Also the cf diffusor from 94 LeMans NSX I got from DaliRacing.
I like that part too.
Easy installation with some Camlocs, much better aerodynamic
performance, because the air stream dont will be catched under the rear fender.
Overall my car has +10km/h more topspeed with this mods.

If you need detailed pictures in better quality, feel free to private me.

Vendor of this parts is:

Ok....now I'm confused. If you are claiming that the wing you have is from Dali Racing, and it is the one on his web-site, then it is in fact a "Honda original Type R spolier". Dali gets them from Japan, along with other Type R parts. Now if he has a new supplier of Type R copied parts well then that a different story. I will call him today and ask. But, again if that's the $5900.00 dollar spoiler that's on his web-site, then it is a Honda original.

John

The Honda NSX-R original spoiler is painted in black gloss,
(NH80), but with an complete cf body structure

The one at my car is carbonfiber body with clear varnish like to see at the Prototype NSX-R.

I think both versions are available.
Maybe the price is different, you have to ask.

At the NSX-R black wing, I noticed some small scratches, probably
caused per washing the car.
The cf version is more resistant, no scratches to see.

looks nice. but i would paint the top and the wing just to make it even cleaner than it already is.

Hi John,

Remember that I don't answer the phone
and I only drop by here when I have time, which is not often.

The Honda original

The Dali one.

I'll have 4 more coming in this month, 2 of those are sold. The decals are supplied with the wing but are not applied.
