One of Many Professional Shots

Contrast way off on this one but I did not take these, his assistant did. Prep to get that rear wheel view.

Adam,

Life is good; marriage life is great. You should go to this event. It is held every Saturday and a nice Starbucks with tables and chair up front to drink a Java and watch the parade of cars come it. A very nice leisurely way to spend a Saturday morning.

ENZO

I have the slides from the shoot and trying to organize a digital format for the pics. I am going to have a a wall size poster and frame it of course; it looks amazing.

On the Enzo you must use a special oil that is $60 a quart and it holds over 12 quarts! That is $720+ just for oil, not including the filter or labor! If you do not use this oil and the engine fails the replacement cost is over $200,000!! That is almost a third of the cars cost:eek:

I heard that also. But on the other hand, there is a law that says you DON'T have to use the manufacturer brand of oil. I don't know the specifics but it had something to do with price fixing and freedom of competition. I think if you can afford a 'F' car then an oil change shouldn't be a big deal.

The problem with this oil is that is some special blend/additive package that only Ferrari uses, so no one else has the oil that meets the specifications of Ferrari. I agree it is not the financial burden for an Enzo owner that it would be for us mere mortals, but still that is some serious coinage!

The oil change is chump change compared to the cost of the $3000 brake pads!

The brake pads are chump change compare to the cost of the car ;)

Tan,

Your car is truly beautiful but I've got this question on top of my head for a while, please don't mind me for asking. Is it your idea to have the fog lights to be placed apart in the center? I mean, it looks kinda funny as if the car lost its front teeth. JMO...

The owner told me an oil change is $600.00 on this. I do not think I can ever own a Ferrari ever now.

I was in the market for a 355 till i was told by a ferrari dealer maintenance is around 672.00 for an oil change. I asked why and he had mentioned Ferrari uses a special blended oil mixture.

no more ferrari for me, i am in the market for a 996 TT now.

$600 for an oil change? $4 for a quart of synthetic. How much are the filter and washer and how much for labor? People can state that Ferrari owner can afford it but it makes no sense to pay $600 for an oil change, period.

I did put them in the other air inlet however, it looked funny to me so I guess it is a matter of taste. I never saw it as a facial impression anyways. The distribution of light was also different. These fogs do not have a curvature like the OEM fogs so that is why I decided to place them in a straight alignment rather than at an angle if I had placed them on the outer air inlets.

Tantheman,
Thanks for the pics. Where did you get them? I really like the looks.

I got them in January of 2003 at the L.A. Auto Show at the L.A. Convention Center for $399.00 with a bonus high beam bulb.
I am that there is an ebay item on it as well as directly from Sylvannia Corp.

My next modification is to cover those air scoops/inlets with a nice black mesh grill cover that would not hinder the airflow for cooling.
