ok so i'm driving back from Macaroni Grill and ... uh...
my engine kinda blew up..... radiator fluid everywhere..... under the engine,
maybe headgasket? no oil either... AHH!!! (i did stop the second it happend, i thought my car was on fire from the smoked radiator fluid.....)

kaboom!!!!

hahahhaa ok, that makes me feel a little better... checked the oil and the levels are good, it doesnt smell like antifreeze so, i hope yer right =)
i'll check tommorrow morning... i just got scared cuz my friends two camaro's burninated and totally burned down, and i just had some evil flash backs of burning cars.... the second i smelled stuff and looked in the rear mirror and saw smoke i drove like the lucky 1/10 mile to park at my house.

hopefully its nothing worse... this scares the hell out of me though...

khappi,

Didn't you wanted the burn up hood and wing. Now you got a burn up hose
Hope it not your motor, get it fix soon so you can roll with us. Good lucky buddy.

yeah me too man, me too, now the only thing is getting my 5 best friends to push my car up the driveway hill so i can get a flatbed to it

Sorry to hear about your problem. My bet is also the water pump hose- most likely is one or the other two big hoses. They work the hardest so that's my bet.

Remember to bleed and put new fluids if possible.

Good luck!

After installing the new hose, check if there is hard pressure on the coolant hoses. Mine was quite hard after some run. Turn out that the radiator was a little blocked.

ok put the car up looked at it, from my calibrated eyeballs it looks like the coolant is pretty clean looking, no oil (but guess have to get oil checked to see if there is any antifreeze in it) anyhow after looking at it for a while, i checked the big fat hoses that go into the water pump, they looked well enough... then.... *ding* i start feeling it up like a junior high movie date and find out that there is a big fat hole in the underside of the big fat hose that is closer to the centerline of the car... now i have to call up my 5 best friends to push my car up my driveway so i can get the car to a place where i can get a flat bed to it  hopefully nothing else went bad like my head warpage or something retarded like that, i shut it down basically right away so i hope the damage isnt too severe, although when it happened it thought i was getting assassinated by Hanzou Hattori smoke bombs because of the white smoke plume that was coming out of my engine bay... GARR!!!!

hahaha i have NO coolant left =)
hahahaha duct tape to the rescue.... just joking

Hey as long as you don't pressurize the cooling system, it just might work!! haha

similar thing happened to me.. a small coolant line right above my transmission started spraying out onto my exhaust pipe below.. I was stopped and I see all this smoke pouring out my hood scoop.

On a total tangent, did Trogdor burninate the Camaros? Were they bitchin' Camaro's?

I just bought some orange dex-cool today for my Subaru. The NSX has purple Neo coolant in it. Recommended by Jon Martin when I had the PPI & some work done when buying the car. The best coolants come in Kool-Aid colors! (orange orange & grape purple)

to be correct Trogdor did burninate the Camaro's... i think he thought they were from the band LimoZine..... lol, so i got some of those Sears flat style jacks....
lol dammit my scissor jack cant get the car high enough to slide the GD jacks into position.. i need a floor jack..... ordered the Dos Amigos pipes so in the mean time i'm going to flush my coolant out, then i'll just have to install the pipes, fill it and bleed it... and hopefully i wont get a visit from Trogdor the Burninator...
