ok headlight went up..but not down......

battery was almost dEAD but enough for teh headlights to go up, now they wont go down.....where do i start looking?

The headlight has a fail system and the failsafe is always in the up position. If you take out your instrument panel and thus disconnect the retractor, when you turn your headlights on, they will pop up but when you turn the headlights off they will not retract. Once you make the connection again, the headlights will again retract etc....
