Before the start if this years track season, I would like to install an oil temp and maybe pressure gauges.

Has anyone done this or have the technical knowledge as to tell me where to put the sensors? Is there an easy location, or do I have to drill and tap out a hole?

I believe someone mounted an oil cooler behind the right side air vent. If I were to do the same, how would I be sure that the rad is not half full of air? Does the oil pressure push out the air?

I've had success with the new dual gauge Spa gauges. I use the Defi system in the NSX with the Defi display. All the engine data is displayed on a small LCD display, simplifying the cabin. In the turbocharged S2000, I use the Spa Gauges, which offer highly accurate digital read outs, and have the advantages of presenting two pieces of information per gauge. This allows maximum use of the small cabin space. On the NSX, there are a couple places to put the gauges. The oil cooler has a 1/8NPT port on it where the pressure switch is located. It can be T-d. Our new adaptor for the oil cooler / Accusump kit also has ports available. You can see on the picture below how a temp and pressure sensor was installed along with the factory pressure switch. Let me know if you have any questions.
