Oil Pan Replacement

When replacing the oil pan, and of course the filter as well, would I need to add more oil than the 5.3 qt's required for a typical oil change?

I did notice in the service manual that for an engine overhaul 6.7 qt is needed.

Overhaul = rebuilding motor (no oil at all anywhere hiding in the block or heads)

So the same as an oil change...... just make sure to check the stick after you finish to make sure.
