Oil filter relocation

Good morning,
I am just starting to relocate my filter bracket so I can mount my larger 8" crank shaft pulley. I want to ask if anyone felt that it would be a problem to mount the filter horizontally to hide it from veiw. I do this on my boat however the filter housings are not water cooled. Thanks

I have seen this on dozens of cars over the years, including many Honda products. Considering the pressures that run through it, I am sure it is irrelevant to safe operation.
