I've been researching but have yet to find a good diagram or description of the engine oil circuit, including where all the oil galleys and channels are in the engine block and cylinder head.

As I understand the oil flow sequence is something like this:
oil in sump
to oil pump
to oil filter
to main oil gallery (or galleys??) in engine block
to all main bearings and conrod bottom ends (and to piston gudgeon pins?)
to oil pressure sender (on the left side of engine)
to VTEC control unit
to cylinder head / camshaft bearings / VTEC mechanism
all flowing back to sump

but I'm after much more detail, especially where all the oil channels are and approx. what size / diameter they are ...

TIA

Page 5-11 of the 1991 Service Manual (under Engine / Construction and Function / Lubrication System) gives you a diagram of the oil flow. If you don’t have that Service Manual, you can download it here: http://www.nsxprime.com/wiki/Service_manuals (the 1991-1996 Service Manual has the diagram as well but I haven’t checked the rest of the Service Manuals).

I haven’t seen any specs for the diameters of the oil passages, though.

I did look in the service manual first but only found section 8 on engine lubrication, completely missed those pages in section 5.

So many thanks greenberet, that's what I need.
