Oil Change Before or After?

She's due, but I'm going to Gingerman next Sat (4/14).

I'm thinking I should change it before. Shall I do it after as well? I'm running Mobil1 10W30.

But if you have to choose b/t the two, do it before. I'd much rather track my car w/ as few oil contaniments as possible.

In cases like that, do you guys change the filter also??

If you have added capacity oil pan, accusump, and you use good sythetic oil... it adds up quickly. :biggrin:

I know it's all cheap comparing to engine failure... but it does add up.

Last change was in November. I stored the car for 3 months, as well.
