oil catcher

anyone know how to make a oil catcher? found this site with pics

and what is the oil catcher really for? is it THAT important?

I just had to respond .......dude, I have no idea what the heck you are
talking about

The pic looks like an in-line filter you see in air tool lines. Now I am curious, hopefully someone can shed some light on this....

From my understanding it’s suppose to catch the oil that leaves the engine from the PCV valve and stop it from entering your intake manifold.

As far as making one, I have heard of some people using a fuel filter from a Mustang. There are also companies that sell them, condensator.com and you should be able to pick up a Moroso unit from Summit Racing.
