After fitting a 205/45 R17 with no rubbing issue on my NSX, I wondered if a 215/45 R17 would also fit?
This would allow the use of Michelin's Pilot Sport Cup 2's, a must to keep up with the Porsches on track!
In my current configuration the answer is NO.
In fact the back of the outer side of the tire is very close to the chassis frame when the steering is turned.
The problem is mainly due to the 33 mm offset I use with my Porsche calipers.
I noticed that the Rays 57Transcend wheels accept large calipers with an offset of 43 mm according to SoS:

Pulling the wheel inside the arch will give more clearance at the rear of the wheel so that the larger tire should fit?
It would be great, if someone ( maybe ScienceofSpeed ) would test this combination.
