Official Unveiling on Japanese Honda Site: NEW NSX

Sweet! Nice find! I wonder when the american site will have this stuff.

Just looking through here (and not understanding any of the language) I have found a couple of things.

New CD= .30
Tires are 215/40R17, 255/40R17
3.2 L Engine rated at 280ps (same, I think)
New armrest that splits in half and has two cupholders.
The rear end looks like the NSX-R.. nice.
Brakes are 298mm/ 303mm (Same as current according to NSX prime FAQ). Which is a little disappointing.

Thats about all I can find.

yep...basically they will rebuild your car and make it like new again. Sounds pretty awesome...but I bet you could buy a ealry 90s NSX here for what they charge for that.

Beats me for sure though.

I hope the US market gets all the clolor and interior choices. It would be nice to see other colors around other than the most common black, red, and silver. No offence, all those colors are fine and I;d be happy with whatever. Just think we should have the choice of more.

I've been spedning the last half hour or so translating all the pages and reading them.

I'll say it again, I like the new rear styling for the exhaust. I want to see it in person. If it still looks that good, I will be ordering one from Acura as soon as it becomes available in the US.
After reports that the rear styling on the NSXR was actually part of an entire underbody diffuser/tray made of carbon fiber, I thought it would be exclusive to the NSXR. I'm glad they did something similar with the production model, although I'm sure it's just a bumper piece on the stock model.

I remember reading an article a few years ago in Road & Track talking about this refreshment program for the NSX. At that time they said the price for the complete rebuild was approximately $30K. And I don't think that covered the cost of shipping to Japan.

Can they refresh an early car with later-model mechanicals ?? Can they get parts from the "special" models (type R, S, etc)

Get a manual-shift coupe w/o power steering, with a 6-speed 3.2L motor, with the Type R suspension ??

The refresh program is not new; it's been around all along.

AFAIK it is not available for North American NSX's, and even if it were, they certainly wouldn't make JDM parts available.

After reading the babelfish translation of the description of Long Beach Blue Pearl, I've got to see it. Sounds even better than the previous postings here about Monaco blue

Because time and the labor which are suitable to the treatment of color clearing where the Long Beach blue * pearl, although it is the color which has the vividness which is prominent, pulls the color taste of that paint and the paint even among them and raises are necessary, use to the mass production car is the color which is made unsuitable. If there is no special environment, factory and the Takanezawa factory of the NSX which efficiency compared to respects quality the special blue which cannot send out to world. It overflows in intense impact, the coloration and the expression, we would like you to verify regardless with that eye.

Can't wait to see it in person

Hope to see the imola orange or long beach blue soon!

Have we determined what kind of OEM tires they are fitting? Yoko -- how about an AVS Sport in 215-40-17 ??

The rear end looks like the NSX-R.. nice.
The exhaust tips look updated, too.

The new NSX looks better with the front licence plate on. And the rear looks great.
Can't wait to see it for real and then comment.
