I was trying to install some OEM springs onto the OEM struts and I thought I would need a spring compressor to fit the spring in. Tried it just now and the spring fit and the top of the strut went on without having to compress the spring. Is that right?
Thanks

Did you have to compress the spring about an 1" by hand to get the shock rod to come through the hole in the upper mount? If not these may not be OEM springs or they may be tired:).

I remember doing this job and the original hieght springs did require a compressor to get them off.

Larry, actually, the rear OEM springs(long springs) went on without having to use the compressor or any pressure. When I went to apply the front OEM springs(short springs), I did need to use the compressor. Just wanted to make sure this sounds right. :)
Thanks
