Wondering what prices (parts and install) local OC NSXers are getting from Acura dealers for OEM clutch replacement? I searched the FAQ and forums and couldn't find any recent specifics. Tustin Acura quoted me $2,300 a couple of weeks ago (claimed this was a $200 off "good guy" deal). Also, what should I expect to pay for 90K service (car has 60K on it, but is a 1995). Thanks.

I can tell you on the other side of the country, I was going to get it done for about $1800. Turns out my clutch is fine.

I am trying to find out the 90K info now, but their software doesn't have one for the NSX

this guy comes highly recommend
Niguel Motors

and there's always Autowave in Huntington Beach

Niguel is great, Ramon's schedule has been busy, so book with him early. Or Applied Motorsport with Nick, who did my clutch for me. Both are VERY qualified and expert in clutch work. With OEM clutch, I think total part+labor should be somewhere south of ~$2k.

Try south coast Acura, ask for Patience; screen name on Prime is Defiant 1. Patience can offer OEM clutch for $1900, I have no idea for 90K service. I was quoted $500 for 50K major service; hopefully this will give you a rough idea on the cost for 90K service.
I called many different dealers before one of the Prime member referred Patience, she’s got the best deal.

Good luck

Try Southcoast Acura, they should be able to beat Tustin Acura's quoted price, Tustin Acura also does good work, either one you go you can't go wrong.

I paid $2400 out the door at Southcoast Acura for 90k service + timing belt/water pump replacement last year. my NSX is 92 with 24k miles, probably overkill with 90k service, but at least I am drive it worry free.

BTW who is Patience?

Gotta agree with you here.. South Coast Acura is the best for service and pricing in OC.. OEM clutch and labor is $1900.. I just had tons of work done there on my 93 and price shopped Niguel Motors, Tustin Acura, and Autowave before going to SCA.

Patience is definitely the one to talk to .. I have her cell number and can call her for you if you're serious about going there. BTW, Patience is Steve Kleine's wife.. Steve Kleine is the Parts Manager at South Coast Acura..

Please feel free to PM me if you want details on what I had done and the pricing I received..

Good luck on your search
