oem cd changer problem....

My problem is that im get static coming from my sound when i play cds from the oem cd changer. I already had the speakers and head unit rebuild so i know those are not the issues. I also tested the alpine cd changer that came with the car and the sound was clean and clear again.

My question is, does the static problem come from the oem cd magazine or could it be the oem cd changer itself? Anyone ever get the oem cd changer rebuilt?

I like to keep the oem cd changer because i like how it was originally place with the brackets and everything.

its the changer, if it mounted in the trunk sometimes it gets moisture and stuff inside the changer gets rusted.
you can use any OEM Acura Honda cd changer from 1990-1995 legend, intergra, accord, Civic, or 1991-2005 NSX changers have the same style din plug
I have seen new ones offered on ebay for about 160 brand new never opened.

The wiring on the OEM is different from a normal alpine unit so I would assume you would need to remove the Precision Interface Electronics (PIE), part #ACUALP.
