OEM alarm engages only with both doors open...

and if I lock it from the outside with key. It will not blink when I use the power lock on the driver door with only the driver door open.

I have checked the drivers door switch and it does not work (the dome light will not come on when the door is opened).

The question is... If I fix the door switch is the alarm suppose to activate by locking the doors with the power lock?
