I purchased the Odyssey 680 from Dali a while ago. When I was getting my car ready for the Prime Drive, my original battery took a crap on me, so I decided to finally install my Odyssey battery. Everything went fine with the install, and it only took 45 mins from start to finish. Got in the car and it started right up!!! Why am I so excited about a battery starting my car? Well, I knew it had been awhile since I bought the battery, but I never thought it had been this long. Checking the box, the battery dates back to March 2003! I never thought a battery could sit that long and still hold a charge and I expected to have to charge it a little bit, but I am amazed at how well it stood the test of time. Enough rambling...
Take care,
John ;)

Actually, I installed the 680 Odyssey in my own car also.
However, when the cars sits in the garage for more than 3-4 days it's is completely drained and no longer able to start the engine. Probably due to the Clifford alarm that I'm using.

With the Honda OEM-battery I've had the car sitting in the garage for over three weeks and start the car without even the slightest hint of having a problem.

So, although I liked the idea of the 18 lbs or so of weight loss, I am reverting back to the OEM battery again.

Interesting. Mine did almost the opposite. It would do OK for a few days, but after more than a week sitting, my 2 year old stock battery wouldn't last (with no aftermarket alarm)

I have an odyssey battery in my NSX, I leave it on a battery tender if I know I will not be driving the car for a while because it will drain in about a week. BUT the full size battery that was in there before did the same thing. There is something in my NSX that drains current while the car is shut down. It's strange because I have seen some people post on prime that their NSX will start fine after months in storage, and other people have posted that their battery drains quickly like mine does. Has anyone ever traced the source of the current drain? I have no aftermarket alarm, just the OEM keyless entry.

At least 2 years ago, I swapped out my Honda Civic battery in favor of a Lightning Audio recombinant gas battery. After that battery bit the dust, I put my old OEM Honda battery back in and it started the car right up. It worked well for a few more months and then eventually could hold charges.

I have the odyssey 680 and 2 weeks ago the car sat for 10 days and it started right up (with keyless entry alarm activated.) The battery is 6 months old but I have never let it sit longer than that.
