Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can refer me to a repair person/people in SanDiego. I have a 92NSX with a short in the sound system and a trip odometer that is driving me crazy. It whirs and makes an audible inside and outside metal on metal sound. My sound system sounds tinny; I've had amplifier work done at Microtech (I don't recommend anyone go there) in Escondido and the problem persists. I'd like to avoid dealer service-I don't think they deal with these issues in house anyway. I'd really appreciate some suggestions.
Thanks,
Eric

Check with Jerry at Greenlight Honda (858)569-1511, I am not sure he works with electrical, but if not, he can probably suggest someone that does. He may be able to help you with the odometer though.

Thanks. I'll give Jerry a call Monday.I love your car. I'm on the 79 south a lot in Temecula commuting in a red and black 92 NSX. More and more traffic and CHPs!
Regards,
Eric

Thanks. Microtech said the amps were ok and thought the Alpine cd console was the culprit although I have my doubts. I guess I need to get that checked first before I send off the amps to you. I'm glad to find someone who fixes climate control. My system no longer works on full auto so may need help in the future.

Eric -

I've not had the pleasure of directly working with either of these two gentlemen but a quick search will show you that lots of San Diegan and S. OC people have had very good luck with Jerry at Greenlight. He seems to really know his stuff.

And BrianK is something of a hero here. He does a lot of good work on stereos, climate control, etc. for the NSX. If I ever have an issue with those systems on my NSX... the parts are going straight to him.

Good luck.
