The temperature selector knob on NSX's where the climate control reads in Fahrenheit has 30 clicks to it.
The temperature selector knob on NSX's where the climate control reads in Celsius has 14 clicks to it. This is engineering bordering on obsession but I like it!
I noticed it when driving my metric 91 and an American 95 back to back. The knob on my car felt like it had larger spaces between the detents, which I guess it should, because Celsius degrees are bigger than Fahrenheit degrees. The temperatures vary by a ratio of 14 to 25.2 which is close to what Honda engineered into the control (14 to 30).
Pretty neat eh?
