I have a 97 engine in a 2000 car and the emissions setup is not the same. The 2000 ecu is looking for an airflow signal which I cannot provide because the 97 engine has no place compatible for a hookup of the wires and hoses. Does anyone know which wires are looking for the signal, what the voltage might be? I would like to hook up some voltage source to fool it and prevent the omnipresent check engine light. I tried using the 97 ecu in the 2000 car and it wouldnt start.
