I recently came across this interesting article reviewing oil filters, including the nsx oem filter. The article was written for the lude, but it has some good info. check it out:

Kinda hard to find the nsx filter info on this spreadsheet:look under the "Non-Prelude filters no fit" tab on the bottom of this spreadsheet (EXCEL needed) :

I'm surprised the Fram was rated highly....my personal experience has found that Fram's gaskets are fargen sheit compared to oem honda quality...and their threads are too strong. I cross threaded a filter on my 90 Civic SI a loooong time ago.....the threads on the filter should give b4 the threaded stub on the block imo.
Felt dumber than Jessica Simpson, even though I lucked out and it was a cheap fix: free insurance tow, $5 part(roughly), and $50 labor for the Lynnwood Honda mechanic to spend 2 hours trying to get something to hold onto the slick, round, hardened stub (technical term).
