NSXs at the US GP in Indy

Folks-

Anyone here with any of the 3 NSXs I saw at the US GP at Indy this past weekend? One was parked on McRay St. ('95 or '96 Red/tan) the other two were red/black.

Looking good! I wish I were wearing my NSX cap.

NSX at USGP

I drove my 96 NSX-T to the USGP (red/tan) and parked on a side street at the north end of the track (turn 4 side). Not sure of the name of the side street, but it is just off of Georgetown. I should know the name of the sidestreet since I have parked in the same spot for all four races. This was my first year with the NSX at the USGP and I can verify that this car drew more attention than any other car in the vicinity---a tribute to the car which is all stock except for slightly different size tires. The race was great and with Jenson Button leading 17 laps the Honda crowd had something positive to cheer about. It was a great time and it would be nice if we could get a contingent of NSX's at the track in the future for the car parade that the BMW and Corvette groups had with police escort through downtown Indy.

Yes, that was the car I saw. Looking great! I have the same color combo, but mine is a '95 with chrome OEM wheels. I too was pleased to see a Honda out front (where we really belong) even for a little while. Depressing to see how easily the Ferrari overtook us though. Well, perhaps next year!

Hey guys, I was at Indy too. Was a great race! I didn't get the opportunity to drive my 95-T. I drove a White 30 foot Winnebago Type -R. While it didn't handle as well as my NSX, I did use a low downforce set up on one of my stints driving home whick enabled me to hit 87MPH! I will admit that I had to draft a semi to get it that fast though. Perhaps next year I will change the gear ratios!

Was a bit gutted for Jensen, I think he was in line for his first podium.

It's too bad Honda most likely would have gotten some points if they didn't have the engine reliability problems.

i was there

i was there with my 91 red/red top. red sparco seats and prodrive rims. (ct plates)
met jonathan with a black / taitec parallel / volks, from texas.
didn't see any others.

did anyone check out the accord a-spec in the honda tent?
nice carbon fiber accessories on that baby.

i'll post pics later.

(unfortunately got nailed coming back in PA. was cruising along with an S2000 and ran into a speed trap. nailed us both. it's amazing how smooth 100mph feels.)

Nice pics! Yeah, the Accord was sharp. Did you notice that the wheels had no visible valve stem? It was hidden bhhind one of the spokes! COOL! Perhaps we should find a place to meet with our NSXs next year?

I was there also... and saw a red NSX parked downtown in front of the mall (valet parking area) on Sat. nite. Nice ride.

I was there too. 94' Red/Tan The June date next year should be an awesome time. The 500 then Formula one, it's gonna be a busy spring!
