It was very recent and very disappointing. AMP has been on their calendar for the past 3 years and this was the first actual possibility to go and then they had to cancel it. If I recall right the price was around $460, which is steep when you consider Road Atlanta as the "expensive" course on the list for $399. I know they had a ton of instructors and one or two HPDE students signed up.Given some of the high caliber tracks of the past (Laguna, Infineon, Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Sebring, Mid-Ohio and Mosport) I'm shocked that NSXPO hasn't been to VIR yet. Besides Miller and Barber I couldn't think of any others in North America that get on that same level.... I'm not really pushing it because it's too close to me and I get to drive it all of the time. I'd rather travel a bit if possible. I just thought it was surprising.
