The Hilton Garden Inn - Raleigh/Cary, NC has been selected as host hotel for the NSXPO 2013, and is now available for booking your reservation. It is conveniently located in suburban Raleigh (Cary) with easy access to major highways. While the hotel is situated near a large retail/business complex, it is located in an area that will provide a private, almost resort like atmosphere with great parking. This Hilton Garden Inn is one of seven in the country that has been designed with banquet facilities. During our welcoming reception and again during the Sunday night banquet we will enjoy cocktails while looking out onto the private NSX parking area. The hotel is less than a year old. We look forward to a great experience and first-rate service during our stay. On a side note, this hotel has been selected as the headquarters hotel for the 2014 Model A Club of America’s National Convention.

We have negotiated a rate of $109 per day that will include a hot breakfast buffet for 2 each day of the NSXPO. The NSXPO opens Friday evening October 11th and runs through Monday, October 14th. We have blocked out a sufficient number of rooms for the expected attendance. If we have a larger turnout, we have arranged for additional rooms at the Doubletree by Hilton, sister hotel to the Hilton Garden Inn that is just 15 steps away. It too is a brand new hotel, with a restaurant, bar and beautiful lobby. These two properties are virtually operated as a single hotel.

To access online reservations please begin by visiting the Hilton Garden Inn website at http://www.raleighcary.hgi.com. Once on the site, enter the dates of travel. From there, it will bring you to the next screen where the Group/Convention Code is to be placed. You will need to click on the special code box on the left and input code: NSX. In addition, if you prefer to make reservations via telephone, you can call their direct line at 919-377-0440. The last day to make reservations under the discounted group rate is Thursday, September 19, 2013. Once the block is full at the Hilton Garden Inn, reservations will be booked at the DoubleTree by Hilton under the same code. (NSX).

We are expecting a record turnout for NSXPO 2013. If you have never been to the NSXPO, you WILL want to attend this one. If you’ve been to several NSXPO’s, you won’t want to miss this one! We are working on several very exciting events, and as soon as they have been set up, we will be announcing the agenda.

For those of you participating in the track days at VIR, (Virginia International Raceway), information will be available soon for registration and hotel reservations.

The Southeast Chapter of NSXCA is looking forward to seeing you all at the NSXPO 2013!
Remember, to attend the NSXPO you must be a registered member of the NSX Club of America. To join, visit the NSXCA website: http://www.nsxca.org/nsxca/join/

Over 40 Rooms have been reserved so far for NSXPO 2013. We are expecting a big crowd for NSXPO, and have provision to spill over into their sister hotel, the Doubletree, just steps away from the Hilton Garden Inn. Same great rooms, a restaurant, bar and spacious lobby. Both hotels have brand new, contemporary facilities. The banquet rooms and reception facilities are in the Hilton. If you are thinking about attending, book your reservation now!

After touring the Hilton Garden Inn and Doubletree Hotel last Thursday with John, I just want to say,
WOW!!!These hotels are awesome! Really stylish places and the food and service was unbelieveable. We had an incredible tasting of what will be the banquet dinner.

Though both hotels are equally gorgeous and the Doubletree is more like a wing of the Hilton, the banquet and meeting places will be at the Hilton Garden Inn. Having over 40 rooms booked this early is really unusual. If you are planning on going, book your room now!

John also took me to Leith Acura and the North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) where we will be attending a very unusual Porsche exhibit. The exhibit is only going to here at the NCMA. The NCMA facilities are beautiful with an architecturally interesting building as well as some unusual and fun outdoor sculptures (similar to Grounds for Sculpture here in NJ). As just a small taste of NSXPO2013, I can't wait!

We have seen an unusually high number of early bird hotel reservations. 2/3 of our rooms block is already taken at the "main hotel" and once booked the sister hotel connected to it will be used for overflow. I have been to every one since 2001 and have been involved in the planning of and payment for each NSXPO since 2004 and have never seen these numbers hit before July. Don't miss out and book your rooms early!

Bob, What time do the festivities start on Friday? Do I understand we should book 3 nights at the Hilton Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights?

Looking forward to seeing you again. Gary
