We are planning to drive from Qualicum Beach to Las Vegas leaving Tues Oct 26 and arriving Wed late.

Any other BC owners planning to drive to NSXPO?

Jim and Leslie

How long is the drive down to Vegas?

It must be fun driving through the west coast hills and valleys. Seattle, Porland, Sarcramento.. You guys should form a caravan line for a group drive!

This is the 20th for the NSX, and it's Vegas. It's going to be crazy. Get more people to go!!

I am driving down from Winnipeg. It will be close to 2000 miles each way for me. We should all get little Canadian flags or something for the window so we can pick out other Canadian owners.
See you all there.

I want to make it down for this. About my only concern is what the weather will be like in between here and Las Vegas at the end of october. Rain doesn't bother me, but I have a paranoid vision of a red ditch seeking missile in a snowfall...

Were you at the Porsche BBQ at Queen Alexandria on the weekend? Thought I saw you driving through the parking lot.

I am not sure where you would see snow from Seatle to Vegas. You should be able to run down the coast and go through Reno to Vegas.

Sadly, I will not be able to make it this year - maybe next year!

That looks like the best option for route. I'm gonna check with some of the members that live along there and confirm snowlessness

I like that idea, some kind of "Team Canada" decals maybe?

Yup that was me. Not a bad show, and nice to see that you guys were able to get in on it. Although, the best euro car I saw that day wasn't at the show, but later that afternoon, where I was cruising down McKenzie next to a brand stonking new Mercedes SLS AMG  Nice car...

My son and I will be leaving from Regina around 5PM on Tues Oct 26 and plan to drive straight through and arrive Wed PM. Supposed to be 2400 km one way for us. What's your route and when are you leaving?

The SLS AMG was at the show. It only hung around for about an hour but I got some good shots of it. Man that thing sounds great. Here is the link to the pics I took.

Check them out..., the AMG is near the bottom.

Well, I am registered, and the hotel is booked. I am leaving Monday morning, driving by myself.

I am driving straight south on I29 through Grand Forks, Fargo, Sioux Falls, Sioux City then Omaha. Then I am heading west along I80 to I76 to Denver. On the otherside of Denver I am taking I70 to I15 straight south to Las Vegas. Google maps puts it at 1943 miles and 31 hours with that route. There is another route I am going to follow on the way back that is close to 300 miles shorter, but the driving time is only 1 hour less, so I am assuming lower speed limits and more slowing down for smaller towns vs staying on the interstates.

I plan on getting in Wednesday, late morning early afternoon. I have booked the South Point room from Wednesday until Monday.

If you haven' booked your room yet, don't use the "special" pricing code they have supplied. I used hotels.ca and I got the hotel for 5 nights for $361 Canadian. Expedia.ca had the same room for $371 Canadian. That includes all taxes and fees, etc. The special prices they worked out would have been 3x$55 + 2x$85 = $335 + 12% = $375 USD.

Hope to see all of you Canadians down there. If any of you are flying down and want to ride along in my car I have room for one. It will be the stock black/ivory 1991.

Dwayne
