Hi Portland NSX'ers.

I have been rallying the troops to put together a proposal to bring NSXPO to Portland in 2007. We have all the things it would take to make a great event, Great Track, fantastic roads, wonderful eating, plenty of hotels, wineries, scenery, the coast, the mountains...I could go on for about ever! Tom Kohrs will be up from Sacramento to meet with us on January 12 Th, 6:30 PM, at McMenamin's Rock Creek tavern.

If you are free and interested in helping, or just have suggestions, stop on by and say HI, have a beer and a bite. Let's start putting together the best NSXPO ever.

Thanks,
Dave

Good luck with your proposal!

Just popping this to the top of the forum as a reminder, or a call to action!

Please come if you can, the head count will dictate if we are willing to try and put together the 2007 NSXPO in Portland!

Thanks,
Dave

Let's go Portland and Seattle NSX'ers. This is a great opportunity to put on a great fun event. Not a lot of work if there are enough bodies to spread the load around. Even the Sacramento Chapter is willing to help in this so there's no excuse for you locals. Let's give Dave all the help he needs to bring NSXPO to Portland, a great city.

Best wishes on getting a proposal put together. IMO, the more proposals submitted the better chance of having a successful NSXPO! It would also be neat to have an NSXPO up in the Pacific NW. Good luck!

That's what Dave is trying to do. Portland International Raceway is one of the premiere track venues in the Pacific N.W., and numerous ALMS races have been held there. The track looks extremely challenging but also is one of the prettier track venues out here. The city of Portland is a great place to live much less visit. This is one city that has done a lot of things right. It gives you that small town feel with big city sophistication. This is an opportunity that just can't be missed. Let's go Oregonian NSX'ers.

Thanks to everyone who showed up last night. Was great to have so much energy, 12 enthusiastic folks all sharing their idea and input. Thanks to Tom Kohrs for sharing your expertise, insight and experience as well as lending the NSXCA representation.

Full speed ahead, on with a proposal for 2007 NSXPO in Portland OR!

I think having it in Portland is a great idea. That town really has a little of everything.

Dave, Sorry I couldn't make it. I would definately love to have NSXPO in Portland. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Seriously.
