This past weekend was the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca, so a couple friends and I decided to take a trip. It was very fun, it was my first time to a MotoGP race, and also my first time to Laguna Seca.
Met up at my friend's gf's place, she has chickens.
And lives on a sweet plot of land owned by this German dude.
The German dude is a contractor and made a garage for his Mini Truck, which fits exactly inside the garage.
Friend's gf's Ducati Monster and his Honda Dual Sport.
She's had it for 10 years!
NSX the sherpa car. (3 people's clothes and camping equipment)
The week prior to the trip I was furiously trying to get my car ready. Painted my center console which was bubbling and chipping. Added NSX-R radio delete plate and shift boot while I was at it.
We set off.
My friend and I split off, his GF is an experienced rider, but just not as fast as us.
Took a couple of breaks.
I actually decided on this trip that I'm not going to put on the coilovers I bought for it. The stock suspension feels incredibly good, and if I lower the car, there are too many compromises I'll have to make in terms of how I want to use this car. I want to use it as more of a touring car rather than a track car, so comfort has some weight.
We continued on.
We stopped again and waited for a while, only to notice that my friend's GF had some bike problems (moral of the story is, don't split up).
Turned out to be a messed up fuel line. "You can have reliable, or you can have Italian."
We dropped her bike off at a local shop and made room for her in my passenger seat. I was really impressed with the amount of trunk space. We then headed out to a camp spot near Morro Bay.
The next morning they rode tandem and we headed out.
Took a look at the dramatic coast line.
Bunch of surfers.
We arrived in Big Sur around 1pm.
Took an incredible hike, but I didn't bring my camera. The next morning we packed up to go to Laguna Seca.
It was very foggy.
We arrived at Laguna Seca and parked in a dirt lot. This is a RUF!
The dude was revving this bike. Sounded so good.
So many sweet oldschool bikes.
I have more pics but I'll have to post them after someone replies, so it doesn't just add the pics to my first post, as there is a 50 photo per post limit.
