Bought mine (92) in Oct of last year. In the first 3 months I had to fix the Climate control unit, replace the blower motor and power transistor for the AC, rewire the stereo system (aftermarket installed by a high-schooler, apparently) door handle broke, windows had to be lubed, all brakes had to be replaced, BOTH horn buttons popped out of the steering wheel on me, and the tail lights had to be drilled to allow moisture to escape. A few other things too, I just am not going to go through my records.
On the flip side, I knew about some of the issues, and did most of the work myself, saving a bunch of money. To me, whenever you buy a car you always have to get used to each other, and Roxanne is now in a much better home, which I think she now realizes, as I have not had one bit of trouble in over 6 months (knock on wood).
Overall, the car is much more reliable than any other car in its class, and if you are looking to purchase, take your time and find the car that is right for you. Mine was a "gotta have it, before time runs out" purchase, and if I had to do it over again, I still would definitely have an NSX, and maybe even the same NSX, as now mine has lots of new parts, that I no longer have to worry about. Good luck, if you are hunting.
