NSX wheels for MR2

I know this is slightly off subject. Wondering if any NSX fans out there also are into MR2's.

I have a set of 91-94 NSX wheels. Was wondering if they would fit on 91-95 MR2 without spacers/mods. Would appreciate any info.

I sold my 93 NSX wheels to an MR2 guy, fits without any problems

They'll fit but I don't think they'll be hubcentric. You'll have to get new lugnuts (ball seat, not acorn).

Thanks for your insight. When I did try the NSX wheels on the MR2, that's what I actually noticed as the problem. I noted the MR2 lug nuts did not seem to seat appropriately. I'll try to get some NSX lug nuts.

Also, I think the offset is a bit different. It seems that the track is about 1/2 to 1 inch narrower with the NSX wheels.

Any other suggestions/observations are appreciated.

Just a friendly reminder that the NSX wheels require a ball seat lugnut which is a Honda/Acura thing so you'll have to get them at a Honda/Acura dealer. I think some old volkswagon wheels use ball seat lugnuts.

You may want to inquire at a wheel shop about getting hubcentric rings for the NSX wheels, especially if you do occasional spirited drives (You don't want your studs shearing off in the middle of a corner).
