NSX Wallpaper Calendar for April

I've had to do some stuff with Photoshop at work lately, so I started playing around with some compositing and filters. Given that it's pretty pointless on playing with technique without actually trying to do something constructive, I decided to make a simple wallpaper calendar.

Here's the result:

Yeah, I know it's pretty simple. And if anyone notices, it has a significant influence from a particular R/C website. But hey, I like the way they do their calendars. So enjoy!


Here's hi-res versions:
1024x768 version
1280x1024 version
1600x1200 version

looks great Fury... except the angle of the photo means we can't see the teddy-bear rims.

you should have a non-calander version so we can use it after april too.

If you can think of things that may help in the future (i.e. marking holidays, hilighting Sundays/weekends, making the calendar part smaller/bigger, image is too dark, designating safezones for icons and toolbars, etc.), just let me know.

I might start doing this. It wouldn't be too difficult. But, composition for the image might start to look strange with a blank area where the calendar used to be. I'll check in to this.

I wouldn't mind doing that. I could actually use more pics of NSXs. I'm sure people here would get tired of seeing the same old black NSX. The higher the resolution, the better. NSX images that work best are ones where very little of the surrounding environment is reflected on the car.

I can't guarantee that I'll use each submitted image, and I'll do my best to fulfill any particular month requests.

Yeah, this sounds like a really funky idea... perhaps the photos that don't make it to POTM could be also explored.

I would like to get you a bunch of hi-res. pics of my car, and have you create me a NICE wallpaper like the great job you did with that one. I would like my full name on it as well, and my company's logo.
Can you do something like that?... maybe in like 2 weeks from now?

I tend to avoid doing anything on the side on a contract/freelance basis. I often find that I run out of extra time, so I'd hate to commit to a paying customer and not be able to devote my full time to a project. Doing it for fun (like for this site) keeps me feeling like I'm doing this as a hobby, and as such, I don't end up losing interest.

But then again, how much would you pay? Hahahaha, J/K!!

That's some awesome, classy work! I wish I could have skill like this. If you must ask future suggestions, I have to say please no cheesy, sleazy half naked creatures who belong to the inferior cars!
