Is it just me or does this car look like Kenny's NSX, someone bought it and having fun already?

The NSX wasn't on it at first, no sound of SC.

For God's sake man, if you drive an SC'd NSX please know how to pronounce Gallardo correctly.

I know I'll get flamed for this but...

This film looks an awful lot like the road to Buttonwillow. That would make the fact that you're racing another car on a public highway that much more ridiculous.

My wife, my family, and I share the public highways with all of you. Please race on a track and not on public roads.

That is all.. I'll get off my soap box now.

Actually that might be the correct way of pronouncing Gallardo. The double l "ll" in spanish is pronounced as y or j. Italian is similar to spanish so it could be, not too sure. Just saying you shouldn't laugh at him cause he may be correct.

I agree. . though I'm no expert in Italian. But I found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_Gallardo

"The car is named after a famous breed of fighting bull and is pronounced roughly "guy-ar-do"."

That's how i've been saying it, as usual I just assumed I was right

Indeed it is Guy-ar-do, it's a shame the rap song that is currently out didn't do enough research.

Murcielago would have fitted better anyway :)

It is "Guy-ardo", I hear on the video "galardo". I still hear Countach pronounced "count-tach" and Ruf pronounced "rough". I guess if you say "porsh", its too much to expect correct pronounciation of Ruf (which is "roof"). Koenigsegg is another I hear mispronounced all the time. It is "ker-nig-seg"... Don't people read road and track anymore?

Oh man, I always thought it was "Gay-lord-o"

Looks like tuned CTSC NSX can easily hang with a Gallardo.
Daaaammn. Sweet. :-)

So two post have alluded to a CTSC being installed on the yellow NSX…can someone please confirm. I was shocked that that a 97+ NSX with two occupants could hold off a 500 hp Gallardo. I assume it has some type of FI, but just wanted to confirm. I did not really hear the SC as I though I might?

I heard the whine of a supercharger.

Yes "Porsche" is pronounced PORSH-uh not "Porsh". It's funny how even some Porsche owners don't even pronounce it correctly.

Listen to saberx...he knows what he is talking about on this particular car.

Rappers don't care how it's pronounced and don't really care about the car itself. We got more important things to worry about than silly cars... :)

I can hear the whine......maybe the gallardo wasn't trying hard enough? But at least the NSX wouldn't be too far behind if it did try.

Only in the second half. WOT= SC whine, partial throttle=no SC whine. It seems like the Gallardo did a flyby first, caught the NSX off guard. "oh shit Gallardo" lol

Then the boys in NSX did the run second time around, if the Gallardo wasn't on it, it would had been way.... back. NSX is not that slow. Kenny's old NSX is approximately 450bhp. Should be even match up.

You can compare my own acceleration video with Gallardo (60mph~110mph), if will give you a rough idea.

BTW: Eddie, didn't you test drove the NSX in the video over the weekend for Comtec?

No I called Kenny and left a message....he never returned my call. So I guess Mike is moving on to another car.

I heard from a fairly reliable source that the particular NSX did actually beat the Gallardo - however your pronounce it - twice. Of course, this event which was not a race, occured between 30 - 60 MPH and no illegal activty took place..

Yes, the little brother was pretty excited because it was completely unexpected for such a 'slow' car to pull on such a 'fast' car.

As you can see, the car does have heavy a$$ 18/19 HRE's 547Rs, a bling bling retarded sound system and two drivers (one who is a bit out of shape closing in on 200..) I could be wrong, but I thnk it's true..

Cheers :)
