The latest "Sports and Exotics" has a short write-up about a '91, red/black. All original, 2,517 miles ! Factory warning stickers have not been removed, includes NSX luggage, etc. And I thought I'd just bought a pristine one-owner with 36K miles ! It will be interesting to see what this car goes for. Auctions America Auburn Auction in Autumn. Any guesses ????

Just using the few sales I've seen at auction over the past year, those buyers paid a premium for cars with much more mileage and a little less stock than this car. That car Should sell in the $50K to $55K range or more. I'm not saying I'd pay that though. NSXs are rarely offered for sale in high end auctions. This car is obviously a special museum piece. They are estimating $65 to $75K. I hope it sells for that.

I don't see any thing that says the luggage is included unless you are referring to the car cover sitting in the trunk.

The reference to luggage is from the article in Hemmings "Sports and Exotic Car". I saw it there, too. Don't be surprised to see an increase in NSX's at auction over the next few years. The NSX market and the market for Japanese "classics" is heating up.

I'm surprised they have car going through the block in a decent spot. Hopefully there will be some money in room and it will sell for a good price. Don't forget that there is a 10% buyer commission on top of the final price. If it sells for $60k, it's actually a $66k car which would be nice.

Sweet, according to this I have a pre-prototype.

"This particular car is serial number 000148, the first NSX available to the retail public was 000063. All low numbered cars are reported to be pre-prototype cars. This is said to be the 85th Acura NSX produced for the United States market."

A NSX 2005 targa with 7K miles was up for auction at Silverstone Classic Auction and sold for £80,500 .....$120,000 plus the NSX prices are going up all the time. Guess it is the same over there.

My guess is 46,500

If so, that makes it a $51,150 car +taxes. Not bad for a '91. But who knows what will happen and the car has a reserve on it. So unless the auctioneer can motivate the crowd this car may not sell.

Gotta agree, Doc. People with very low mileage NSXs (or GTXs or VeeDubs or Ford Gran Torinos or whatever) tend to value them a bit higher than potential buyers do.

My friend Scott is at the auctions in Indiana and sent me this phone pic yesterday.

nope in all the pics the fender liners are in place. if your talking about the pivot arm you can see that normally.

 $70K!!! WOW!!!

Wouldn't be surprised to see a bump in the Haggerty Value Track numbers for all NSX's soon since actual sales drive their value estimates. THis is good news for anyone with an NSX.

$70K?! So that's $77K? Oooh my! We're sittin on gold mine fellas.

Oh that's awesome to see... 70K !

(and I passed on the Miami barnfind 91' with similar miles a few years ago at $30K *snap*)

Time to up your agreed replacement value with your insurer

Wow crazy money for that 91, but then again it might be the only one in the country with that miles, I'm assuming this one is going to a Honda/Acura dealer for display to get more traffic to dealer show room and nice to have next to the new NSX when it goes on sale.

Was just checking Hagerty out earlier today. Updated for August. Values for all years of NSXs (per Hagerty) remained basically flat since 2012.

I've been tracking selling prices on ebay and it echos Hagerty's findings.
