I have always found the NSX to be an especially intoxicating car, and the one that I saw at Blackhawk Farms Raceway was fully prepped. Suspension, R-Comp tires, Comptech Supercharger... so yeah

R32
- 250 hp / 3400 lbs

NSX
- 400 hp / 3000 lbs

As much of a supercar as the NSX may be, it's notoriously tricky to drive fast whereas the R32 can be driven by ME fast  So then... here's the video

Here is the Vid --> YouTube Video

nice video and great driving, did you get some type of tune to modify the tq split on the haldex AWD system? I heard they are notorious for making the car understeer in stock form or when you start making a lot of power for it.

It's pretty much a Chip for the AWD system. I had it for a little while and had no perceivable difference, sold it. Maybe if suspension was stock i could have noticed, but in it's current state of tune I believe i may have negated the affect of the Haldex Chip upgrade.

But that's a good exhaust on the NSX i must say... Def have to put that one on my list

Oh yeah, he pulled away quite a bit... however didn't lift once giving the point by (ehhh) I just had fun enjoying the view

great video. The whole time I thought your car was the nissan skyline. Until, I saw how come these is VW in the video  .

I thought this was going to be a post of an R32 Nissan Skyline too. Haha

Anyway, good driving. I used to have a 1.8T Jetta with Chip and TBE and it made quite a bit of power, though never got the chance to really track it.

Anyway, your car definitely had an advantage being AWD and on a track that's completely flat. Seems to be the perfect track for you. A supercharged NSX wouldn't be quite at home there.

I must be missing the point here:confused:

Are you saying that a R32 Golf is a match for a CTSC NSX?? :D
You must be kidding.

From the exhaust sound of the NSX it seems to me that guy isn't revving it at all, sounds quite low in revs, so he isn't using it's potential.

I have owned and track driven 280-290 Bhp tuned Impreza's and a 350 Bhp tuned Evo6.
I now have a 366RWHP (so about 410 Bhp) CTSC NSX and I can tell you for sure there is no way on the dry track in the video that a R32 (which is slower than my old Evo6) could keep up with the CTSC NSX when the NSX driver put the pedal down.
On a wet track, this could be different as a AWD car can be pushed to safety limits far beyond a rwd one.
The only thing this video shows me is that the NSX driver seems to be taking it easy and this leads you to the conclusion that the R32 is just as fast:rolleyes:

looking at the video, besides that down stretch, the course is fairly short with a lot of turns (maybe <2 miles, not too sure). it would be great for a more nimble car like an R32, miata, etc. Being 400+ doesn't mean that he's going to win every time. now if it were a large course (big willow), or ones with slopes, advantage clearly goes to the CTSC NSX. and one other big thing applies, the drivers experience. if you have a knuckle head driving that nsx, i'm sure any experienced driver in a lower powered car can pass him up on a turn, just watch out for the down stretch.

x1,000,000, you dont want to challenege even a stock nsx to a lap around the track, well you could probably take a 91-96

even without a supercharger or r comp tires a nsx is faster than a r32, the r32s a little piggy:tongue:

c32>r32

it was pretty funny when he gave you a point by in a non passing zone, and then another one with the pedal to the metal:tongue: should have just taken your 4wd car 4wheeling to pass him:cool:

I love BlackHawk! Is that a new R32 or the last model? Regardless, they are great cars and would be an awesome DD.

Blackhawk is a tight course and not really the NSX's forte. I think the E30 M3 is probably the perfect car for Blackhawk. An R32 is not bad either.

A supercharger does very little to help an NSX at Blackhawk. Just ask Mark (Gobble).

Same for me.

A CTSC NSX can't be driven on this kind of Mickey Mouse track (with a lot of trees to crash in) :D

But great driving in the R32.

Hah, heck yeah... now people... don't get all defensive about "your" cars. I've been shopping/browsing for them for quite some time. I love the NSX as much as you do. The vid is here just for everybody's entertainment, there's no proving of anything.

OH, and if i get a skyline, it'll be an R34 the Nissan R32 is fugly.

I wish I would have taken video of me autocrossing my old 1991 Nissan Se-R. I ran faster times than a Ferrari 360. Seriously. My SE-R was stock with 170,000 miles on it too. How???? The trick is simply someone running at 5/10ths vs someone driving at 10/10ths.

The NSX runs the same laptimes as a new F430.
