Hi guys,
As NSXPO 2005 is approaching. I would like to do a special sale if there are any interests. I plan to make a batch of 10 sets of HID with $20 discount. Shipping to lower 48 States will be $10. 4100k and 5300k kits will be $380 and 6000k kits will be $400. They are normally $400 and $420 respectively. I have been doing this as a hobby and am very thankful for all the support that you have given me. If there are any taker, please post your name and your preference in color temp. After I get the entire orders, I will order the appropriate parts to build the kits. Please let me know by 6/30/05 and the shipping date will be around mid of July. See here http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44100
Thanks,
Steve

For those that are still unaware of Steve's kit - it is the only way to go.

The kit is extremely well made and a piece of cake to install. I love the performance of the HID lights and it definitely updates the NSX.

I have had the 5300 kit for about 8 months and love them.

Since we have decided to keep the car, I am very seriously considering doing this. I have a 04 TL with HID's and absolutely love them.
What is the difference in the two kits you are offering? Is one a white light while the other a bluish tint or something? Please educate a dummy.

I'm 100% in for the 6000K kit ($410 incl shipping). I was looking to get some HIDs from you anyway, this only sweetens the pot.

Ill take a set of the 6000k when they are ready!!!!!

I want IN on this..I was about to call you for a set, but I guess I just got pushed over the edge to get one..

One Question...

If I want the MOST LEGAL look, what should I go for??

I want it to look like the TL's or My old QX4...

Which one should I pick?? Also, If I wanted to retro-fit to a Projector type lense, can I still use these??

Mike

I wanted to put in a word on the HID kit i received from Steve....

It was a snap to install and one of the best upgrades I could have done for the car. I couldn't be happier with the performance, ease of installation and the service that Steve went out of his way to give.

Charles

Steve, is that the new "anti-Viagra" in your new avatar?

I also will vouch for Steve's kit! It's a simple install and Steve stands behind his product!

Hey Victor, Did I meet you at SB in Irving? I had the black nsx with the 6000k HID's.

You will need to get some white corner lights as well!

Mike,
I wanted the same look. I believe the newer (04+)TL's use something a little less than 4300. At least that is what I read on a message board I go to.
I however ended up going with a 6k kit.

The most legal look will be 4100k but I think it is a little too yellow for my taste. Your NSX has already projector headlights so these work perfectly without any further modification. I think 5300k will fit your bill. The result looks very stock but is just much brighter with same focused beam pattern. It is bright, and white but not too white. I personally use 2 sets of 6000k on my NSX because they are just very very white at night and look absolutely high-tech. I don't like that blue glow from rice-rockets at all.

Hey

Can I get in on a 5300 HID kits as well or am I too late?
No, your are not too late. I will take orders until 6-30-05 for this special pricing. The shipping date will be mid July. I do need to ask each person to send in payment or deposit to secure their set because history tells me that I was stranded with 7 kits sitting on my dining room table for months since many people backed out on me when I first started this hobby. I will PM each of you with payment info.
Regards,
Steve

What is the coverage on the 5300k? Does it cut off at the sides or have the same or similar coverage to the stock headlight? I have noticed that some kits tend to offer better brilliance but less coverage. If the coverage is the same or similar then I am in for a 5300 kit. Does the 6000 kit appear to look beyond legal? I want to convert to the HID but want to stay as legal as possible, in NJ they are rather strict about aftermarket lighting changes since we go to State inspection stations for our annual reviews.

It sounds that these kits are incredible. Thanks Steve for making them available and simple to install
