NSX spare tire valve stem removable?

Hi all,

My front left tire is flat, and when I put the spare on (which has been used once before), filled it up, and removed the pump hose, it deflated again. It looks like the little metal piece in the middle of the valve stem (regulator or something? whatever keeps the air from coming out! ) is missing. Can I replace this valve stem easily? I'd rather not have to flatbed this guy to the tire shop...

There is no need to replace the valve stem.

With the proper tool from any auto parts store, simple remove the center portion of the valve on your LF tire, screw it into the spare and at the tire repair shop the new valve stem will have this piece in the valve stem.
