Hi

Have anyone seen something like this before.

Word is that it is a NSX Senna Edition. But I have never heard of such a thing. I did a search here and found no discussion about a Senna Edition.

Anybody knows anything about this? This car is a 1995 with 276 bhp

Strange..either they do not know what they have in there showroom or they know something I do not..

Regards

I've never heard of it, but it is a rare car either way. It is stated as a 95 and it is a Coupe. I guess the Coupes were still available even though they didn't import it to the US in 95. The center console lid has no cup holder even though the US version had it in 94, (93 maybe?). Senna passed in 1994 so this 95 couldn't have been his personal car. It would be interesting to hear the real story behind this car.

Chris, as you can see the car is in Norway so it's an european version. Here you could buy coupes also after 1995 and the power (DIN-PS) for the 3.0 l models was officialy about 276 (280 PS for the 3.2 l cars). And: We had no cupholders here in our NSXs at that time (not even in my '98 cp.).

Martin: I could see nothing like "Senna edition" on the page but the seats seem to be custom made. AFAIK the only "Senna edition" vehicle here was a Ducati 916 in grey/silver with some carbon parts. A certain amount of the much higher price was donated to a foundation of Ayrton.

The seats have custom leather upholstery but are stock otherwise. You can see this leather has been used to trim the floor mats and door panels too.

Anyone know what kind of rack the car is sitting on, and/or what it's purpose might be?

IMO, this is just a normal NA1 NSX, and the year is probably not 1995, just a typical sales trick when the car is registered that year.
I'd say it's really a 1991 or 1992, where the original seats have worn so much, he replaced it with some custom red stuff. The custom red leather looks no where near as good as stock.

Also, the rims, look like 16", and are not even close to be as nice as the 1994+ rims. Why would you put on these instead of the stockers? Unless of course it's really a 1991 that used to have the 1991 rims...
The ad says 2 airbags, indicating at least a 1993, but I can only see one, but I'm not sure about this one.

Check the VIN and we'll see the production number.
I hate when sellers do stuff like this. "Senna Edition" yeah right....
They priced it like a Senna edition, that's for sure. (close to $70k)
Should be closer to 63k here.

martin,
that is a normal 1991-92: you see this from the center console that has only one opening.

Furthermore nobody would replace the stock '94+ wheels with those. Those wheels do only look good in black... :p ...ok Enzo? ;)

This is a swiss car right?

There's no Senna NSX edition !

The Senna stickers that you see on the car can be bought for something like 5 Euro ! ;)

Looking at the sticker on the windshield (needed to use the highway in Switzerland )this NSX is a Swiss car and not a 95 because there's only one airbag !

FYI, one of the two Senna's NSX (Red) was for sale 4 years ago in Portugal, where Senna had a house. The car was completely stock !

Regards,

Another indication that this is a pre-94 car, the center console has a DOHC VTEC emblem which was removed from 94+.

I hate it when people misrepresent their wares. Even if you catch it, some other schmoe won't. It's a reward for dishonesty with no culpability.

Hi

I sent them a mail to get the VIN. It says in the info on the webpage that it has 2 airbags. Just have to see what they answer. I also asked what the difference is between a Senna Edition and a normal NSX. That will be interesting to know :)

Autosalg is a norwegian company and "Autosalg" means "Autosales".

These guys don't know what they have there..I am looking forward to the answer from them.

Regards
