It exactly like scorp965 said and it is really not difficult to do.
You can find the description on page 20-49 of the service manual. It's just one page so that should give you an idea.
There is however one think to note I think.
The four small bolts on the left and right side of the bumper are pretty sharp and while handling the bumper it is very easy to come in contact with and scratch your fender-paint with them.
I would suggest you use some tape along the edges of your rear fenders to avoid any damage. The bumper weighs about 40 lbs in total so it's not that heavy, but it's size makes it somewhat unwieldy to handle.
you have to remove the whole thing together as one piece, and then you can take apart the cover, rear lower, etc all separately. i was hesitant the first time too, but ive done it 3 times now and its super easy. Just a lil awkward to hold when trying to put it back on by yourself cuz its so wideI just want to remove the rear bumper cover, is that possible? Or do I have to remove the rear bumper along with the cover per the instructions listed above?
