NSX-R Type Hood

Any of you guys know where to buy a NSX-R type hood for a 92 that is not carbon fiber?

My car is getting painted next week (among a bunch of other work) and I would love to find one so that they don't have to re-shoot the hood.

Any reason why you are averse towards a CF NSX-R hood? You can obviously paint over it, and some of them are priced much better than the actual FRP/Fiber-glass versions!

There was a NSX-owner who also had a repair shop in Dallas, he did conversions of the OEM aluminum hood into the NSX-R style vented hood. But I believe he no longer does this fabrication/work.

What shop are you getting your re-paint done at, as well as your other odds-n-ends?

If you want a NSX-R hood with NA1 style cut, Downforce makes one in Fiber Glass. You can have the option of all FRP or Top FRP/Bottom CFRP.

The fitment is perfect and you'll have the functionality of the real deal.

What shop are you getting your re-paint done at, as well as your other odds-n-ends?

Thanks for the help! I am getting a bunch of mods done at DVation Auto in Austin. He is repainting my car in a black onyx with House of Kolor Bule Pearl in it.

There is a bunch of other cool mods being done that we are going to try to duplicate for sale. It is amazing the mark up on NSX (some) parts, once yuou figure out what making the parts cost. The car shoudl be done by the end of this week. We are calling it a "D-Vation NSX".
