NSX-R spoiler led DIY question

I have the cantrell concepts type-r spoiler and would like to custom fit an led brake lamp in. Does anyone have any suggestions or may have possibly done this already. Thanks..

I know it's not exactly what you asked, but I'd suggest that it would be easier, and possibly cheaper to sell that wing, and by the one from Peter at Downforce (nsxpowered) with the LED built in. Or, you might contact him and see if he'll sell you the LED unit he put in his spoiler. HTH

I bought the downforce rear spoiler, I have not put it on yet but I looked at it, one question, on the left side there are the wires (one red one black) that dont have a connector. To connect to the wires coming out of the trunk, my question is how do you connect them? do you cut the connector of the wire come out of the tunk and then connect them and use electrical tape?

There are no connectors on the OEM wing anyway. Its wire connected and secure with a heatshrink rubber.
What I did was crimped male/female connectors(I got from local hardware) on the cut wires. So easier if I wanted to reinstall oem wings. HTH

I took out off the stock spoiler and cut off the connector of the wing side. I solider and strink rap the wires on the new wing w/ leds.
