NSX-R "ring" times revisited

for all of us that wondered why the 7:56 BM time didn't appear to be a full lap.


I guess this can finally be put to rest......pretty amazing for 290Hp.

Very impressive. Especially with the long straight(s) on the ring in a couple spots and the 2/3's lap high speed section.

That being said, I honestly didn't realize the Skyline 'beat' the z06 by 4 seconds. That's incredible. Better than the 911 and z06, how could you possibly ask for more?!? It's not even the "GTR" version of the GTR either. I think it could eclipse the 7:30 mark with the additional 50 or so hp, lighter weight, better tires/brakes etc. stock in its highest model variant.

In couple of years they will introduce EVO version which will be 250 kg lighter and 50hp stronger...it will wipe ZR1 out of the track

That's awesome. So the times are legit? The NSX has to be the fastest car under 300 hp ever in history and it's completely daily driveable while looking good too.
