Hello Everyone!!!

i have been working on my NSX-R 1:24 scale model for quite some time now.

just want to share, i'm not an expert builder.
it has been taking me a looooong time to finish is as i only get to work on it on my spare time.
I'd rate this FUJIMI kit as 8 vs. a TAMIYA kit being a 10.
some parts don't fit well, and some mods and adjustments were necessary.

hope u guys like it.

I got one of those model too! Are you going to have step by step of make it? Anyway i look forward of the finishing product tooo!

I got that one too. Pretty bad finishing on mine. Lots of pieces don't line up. Hopefully yours did.

I was going to say that, fujimi models really suck on finish comparing to Tamiya (i have like 4 tamiyas and 1 Fujimi and the fujimi looks "ok" .. a bit weird) .. i think Tamiya has now the new 02+ look on 1/24 nsx's .. good luck and i hope yours can look good!

Nice project. I got the same model too few years back, but haven't got time to build it... What paint you goin to use?
Show us more photos on your progress..

looks good! can't wait to see finished product!
Almost done!!!

Not exactly step by step. Just some of the process.

I agree not all parts fit well. I did a lot of sanding and shaving and fitting before I did final glue and paint.
The most difficult part was to glue on the front lower bumer and the rear lower bumper, I had to use an extra piece of plastic inside the bumper to keep it from splitting open(outward).

Yeah Tamiya kits does fit well and more detailed. This Fujimi kit does not have a full motor. Just the top ½ of the engine bay

that one looks pretty cool but where's the fun in building your own.

Most models are made of plastic and they are fragile. i never buy model kits on line. i usually pick up my kits at the local hobby shop because of the same reason u said> (the kit arrives broken)
I also got a few of those diecast 1:18

But i enjoy building stuffs so buying diecast models does not really rock my boat
Besides i like to see the fruit of my labor.

I have the same one, thanks to Vance for getting it for me:smile:. That is my favorite piece.

awesome!

did you think about covering the radio with carbon fiber

NSX-R_console.jpg
I was thinking about that, it was actually going to be pretty easy just shave off the radio knobs and slap CF decal but but kinda got lazy

That pretty good detailed model. Is this a snap on type. I'm too busy, so I just bought the Remote Control one.
no sorry snap on type kits are for 8yr old kids

thanks bro!

Are you planning on paiting the wheel nuts black?

I wish i still had the patience to do those models. I have a bunch of die cast 1:18 scale cars, including an 02 nsx (blue), which is my only toy NSX.
