Just trying to decipher your post. I have seen several of your posts that mention: "test unit directly from Honda R&D" or similar statements.

What does this statement exactly mean? That:

(a) This is actually from Honda's R&D department and has never been used on an actual NSX sold to the public but used on one their NSX-R for 2000 miles during development of the NSX-R?

(b) This a product installed/used on a NA2 non-NSX-R for about 2000 miles but it is an original NSX-R clutch designed by Honda R&D (which is a given if it is a true NSX-R)?

Try you distroy your confusion.
I have contacts to the Honda R&D test center in europe and in japan.
This contacts allows me to buy NSX-R parts, which are new or used, but ever into an excellent condition. ( 90-95 %)
The used ones were installed at NSX-R test cars.
I’m very proud to get some performance test parts too, which are not available at the market.

I’m able to buy these parts, because the development of NSX-R NA2 in japan is closed and there are some parts over.

Some of these parts I have installed at the Procar Specials NSX, the other ones are for sale.
Mostly I bought 2-3 times the same part.... and also some members of these community has bought these parts.


The NSX-R clutch was installed at an NSX-R test car for 2.000 miles.
The 1th clutch disk has 8.7 mm friction rest (new is 8.9 mm)
The 2nd clutch disk has 8.2 mm friction rest( new is 8.4 mm)
