NSX-R 2.0 Wish List

What if Honda really put the R in the NSX-R by deleting all the electric motors and power assists to make it truer to the original R. I would love to see a track day oriented (Z06) type R. Sub 3K lb. Uprated displacement and bigger turbos with the usual chassis and suspension upgrades. Spartan interior, coup only.

Would that satisfy the old guard?

It should have the V10 from the HSV-10 with its awesome exhaust note as well. Cut out all the other materials and just use CF. Thinner glass for windows and maybe a true manual xmission with a dct as an option. Sorry I still like to shift my own gears.

Ditto. I like the sound of an angry barking dog as long as its not coming after me:biggrin:. that V-10 sound is heaven. DCTs are cool but sure is boring driving on the road. I like doing all that Ninja moves shifting a manual box...it keep my senses awake and alert.
