If I had money ready for an NSX, I would be all over this sucker as a fixer-upper.

2005 NSX-T, banged around in a transport truck, 2,800 miles...$15,000

I know its far from perfect, but I wouldn't think it would run $40,000 to fix it to near-perfection. Maybe $10-15k? And you've got yourself a lovely '05 NSX-T for like $30,000. Granted it has a Salvage title, but if you're going to keep it, that's a great deal.

It looks like this car has some damage underneath that you cannot tell from the picture. Looking at the crossbar over the engine-bay it looks like that one is damaged also.
I don't think you will be able to fix it for 15K. Part cost alone for the front & rear fenders, doorpanel, rear hatch, engine cover, mirror etc. will already set you back for 10K allready.
And damage to the A-pillar?? That would suggest some structural damage to the chassis and on a NSX that is most certainly very difficult to repair.

I am sure that the damage to the car is reparable. But if you want to do it right it will probably cost you more than 15K.
There is a reason why they are selling it for only 15K.
However, for 15K, you do have a lot of parts that could be used on another NSX.
