Like some mentioned - photostores won't (or at least shouldnt ) reproduce any copyrighted work for you - they wont even scan in a portrait another photographer took of you for instance. Also like NSXtasy pointed out - if you bring a high resolution file on CD to a higher end camera shop (because they tend to do custom work like this) then they should be able to print a poster. Many photo stores now use completely digital systems to print their photographs (film is scanned, colour balanced on computer, and is sent to the printer which exposes the photo paper with a high res LCD) - so this shouldn't be a problem.If you're unable to find anyone that offers this service perhaps you could check Sony's printing service... I saw them advertising book binding etc in a photography magazine so posters sounds reasonable...
