I searched, but didn't find, so I'm starting the thread...someone please link me to it if this already exists.

FerrariChat has such a thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328/64460-308-328-gtb-gts-dino-gt4-parts-cross-ref-thread.html

I just KNOW that Honda used 'some' off-the-shelf parts on the NSX. You know, a part that is/was already being used on another one of their cars, but was also utilized for the NSX.

Since we're all VERY tired of over-paying for any part ("NSX tax") JUST because it goes on an NSX! It seems some of the NSX parts are the same as the same part on say...an Accord. Just like Toyota Camry parts are the same as the parts for a Lexus ES (back some years)...but for 2/3 the cost!

Let's all post those NSX part cross-references to other Honda (or non-Honda parts) up on here. I saw one such item posted on the NSX Prime Facebook page this week...there has to be more.

Any Acura dealership parts people out there that can share some info here? :-)

This will be a very, very short list of parts like A/C compressor (Integra), LMA (S2000), wheels lugs and some clips. The rest of the parts has been produced exclusively for the NSX. That's why the car is so unique and that's why the prices are high.

I agree, to an extent, but any help will be good.

I have to disagree that the prices are high just because the car, and it's parts are unique. I, and many others feel the prices are kept artificially high due to greedy, opportunistic vultures who are incapable of earning a living in another way than price-gouging NSX owners just because it's an NSX...period!

Ferrari part sellers are more gentle with their pricing...

Oil filter crush washer alternate P/N's? Not because they're expensive, just for the convenience.
