interested in 91 92 vintage nsx was wondering if cars used in areas where roads are salted in winter will lead to exhaust rusting over the next decade as is the case with porsche from the late 80,s to early 90,s thanks dsher

Nothing to worry about:

1. Porsches are made of steel. Steel rusts. NSXs are made of aluminum. Aluminum doesn't rust.

2. Most NSX owners in areas that experience winter weather either store their cars for the winter, or only drive them on clear days.

Rust Belt

In 1997, I bought my '91 NSX in Fargo, ND, right in the rust belt. The car was always kept clean, waxed and parked in a climate controlled garage for years. After owning this car for six years now, I don't see any problems with the body as a result of it living its life in the "rust belt" of our country.

Have the car prechecked; meanwhile, examine the exhaust for potential problems. Like Ken (nsxtasy) said, aluminum will not rust, but it will oxidize, so just double check the car for irregularities.
